Emergency, converted and specialist vehicles

Reports for your special-purpose vehicle.

Ambulances, fire service vehicles, wheelchair-accessible conversions, forklifts: the value lies in the conversion, not in the base vehicle. That is exactly what standard reports leave out.

Our reports for special-purpose vehicles

Two routes, one standard.

Every special-purpose vehicle is a one-off. That is why the conversion is inspected too – and whether it meets the applicable requirements.

Everything important in detail

What a report on a special-purpose vehicle has to deliver – and why that takes expertise in the conversion, not just in the vehicle.

What a report on a special-purpose vehicle has to deliver

Special-purpose vehicles differ substantially from series-production cars: ambulances, fire service vehicles, wheelchair-accessible conversions, forklifts. The value lies in the conversions – and no standard catalogue knows them.

In the report every modification and special feature is recorded individually and checked against the applicable safety standards. The examination ranges from the technical analysis of the vehicle’s condition through the valuation of the special equipment to checking the type approval.

A basis for the insurer and the authorities

The report is often the basis on which insurers and authorities decide – for registration as well as for a sale. In the event of a claim it determines the value and the repairability of the vehicle and so creates clarity before a dispute arises out of it.

After an accident that was not your fault, the other party’s insurer bears the costs. The choice of expert is yours.

Loss of use with emergency vehicles

An ambulance or a converted minibus that is standing still cannot simply be replaced. We substantiate the loss-of-use damage and, where needed, coordinate directly with the converter and the manufacturer so that the repair does not stall for want of information.

Condition report

Base vehicle and conversion – documented separately

Whether a specialist vehicle for particular duties or an extensively converted series vehicle: we document both levels and record whether the vehicle meets the current statutory requirements and is roadworthy.

That is the basis for buying, selling, grant applications and the insurer – and it answers the question a value catalogue cannot answer: what is this particular conversion worth?

For organisations, local authorities, businesses and private individuals

We carry out inspections for ambulance services and fire brigades as well as for businesses with industrial trucks and for private individuals with a wheelchair-accessible conversion.

You receive the report as a PDF by email, usually the next day. If you want to clarify in advance whether and to what extent a report makes sense, arrange a consultation – it costs nothing and, in case of doubt, saves you the wrong order.
